2008 Corolla spy shot

This is very very unconfirmed, but you may be looking at the next Toyota Corolla to grace America with her presence. Europe gets the hatch, so it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll be seeing this vehicle here in the form of the new Corolla. I’ve never liked the Corolla - it comes off as a secretary car to me. But that’s exactly why Toyota sells so freaking many - there are a whole lot of secretaries here, and they have to drive something. The Corolla doesn’t incite any emotion, but it also doesn’t offend. It’s completely neutral. And since it has that big Toyota badge on the front, they’ll sell tons of them. Link.

  1. Hey I like this car and this is really looks good I will be Buy this pls Post this 2008 corolla With GPS System In the market.
  2. Awesome. Corollas have emotion. wish had that one here instead of the euro styled one.

toyota sells so many cuz theyre good, better than gass guzzling beasts and unreliable scraps.

  3. it is realy nice and buearful
  4. it would be really good if you people could spell. i think the new corolla is better but it will never be an exciting car because isn’t the intent
  5. Exactly Riley. If Toyota made the Corolla exciting, they’d sell less of them, and that isn’t exactly the Toyota way.
  6. Riley- Spelling..how about making a complete sentence.

I like it and I will probually trade mine in for one.

  7. such a mad car! i can’t believe that you woulld say that… i live in australia and these sell like hot cakes…. so bloody popular!! And trust me… it ain’t cuz they have no emotion
  8. Hi……This is Lili. I just want to know when can i see this car at my country…Panama and also how much will be?
  9. I actually just bought a 2008 one. And I love it! Great car. Great options for the car. All around very nice and safe car. Plus with gas prices, it’s a steal. 100% love it!!!! Def. recommend it.
  10. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! I only have one question…… when is this car coming to Jamaica? Trust me, the sooner this car comes , the more sales Toyota will make. They better hurry, though, the Honda Civic and the Nissan Viida are starting to take away the spotlight from our own Corolla ( not that boring and dull one you find in the US) and this is really giving Toyota’s reputation a hard time.
  11. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! I only have one question…… when is this car coming to BRAZIL
  12. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! I only have one question…… when is this car coming to BRAZIL

  13. I don’t no why this car is so poplr in my country and in other counties its evrywhere. i wonder wen the 2008 model is gonna cum to bangladesh.
  14. In my opinion the Corolla is as close as any car company has come to making a perfect car. It’s not a Ferarri or a babe magnet but it’s not supposed to be.
  15. 2008 Corolla??? Just you wait… XRS package with a kick in the pants 2.4l motor!!!! Look out HOT STUFF!
  16. LEROY WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE TOYOTA WAY? I WORK FOR THE COMAPANY AND THAT IS NOT THE TOYOTA WAY! BEFORE YOU POSTED YOUR OH SO INSIGHTFUL COMMENT DID YOU KNOW THAT TOYOTA ALSO MAKES LEXUS AND SCION? SCION ONE OF THE MOST EXCITING TYPES OF CARS. THE TC ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING COUPES OUT ON THE MARKET! THE XB THE NEW BODY STYLE FOR 2008 LOOKS AMAZING! AND IF IT WASN’T EXCITING WHY DO YOU THINK THAT SO MANY PEOPLE USE THAT VEHICLE TO ADVERTISE? AND RILEY, BEFORE YOU GO AND TRY AND PUT SOMEONE DOWN ABOUT SPELLING WHY DON’T YOU LEARN TO TYPE? YOUR LAST SENTENCE MAKES NO SENSE! AS IN UNION WITH YOUR COMMENT. HA HA HA HA HOW FUNNY THAT BOTH OF YOU WOULD POST COMMENTS ABOUT A COMPANY THAT HAS TRIUMPHED SO MUCH IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. IT EXCELLS IN EUROPE AND HERE IN THE AMERICAS. BOTH TYPES OF PEOPLE VERY EDUCATED AND VERY CULTURED UNLIKE THE BOTH OF YOU. I GUESS THAT IS WHY YOU WOULD TYPE ABOUT THE TOYOTA REPUTATION WITHOUT CONSIDERING THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH A DURABLE, EFFICIENT, AND OVERALL QUALITY CAR. NOT TO MENTION THE OUTREACH TO THE YOUTH POPULATION AND THE ARISTOCRATS OF THE NATIONS WITH LEXUS. STICK TO YOUR TYPE OR CARS THAT DESCRIBE YOU AND YOUR COMMENTS WITH YOUR LACK OF CLASS AND AND OVERWHELMING UNUTILITY.
  17. The Toyota way is to sell cars that offend few, and appeal to the masses. That way, they sell in huge numbers. Volume sales is what Toyota is all about, period. Of course I am aware that Toyota makes both Lexus and Scion. Scion makes precisely zero exciting cars… the tC is a good looking compact coupe for sure, but hardly “exciting” in any sense. Certainly not from a performance standpoint. The xB is shaped like a large toaster, and the old xA and current xD are simply deformed.

I have never once in my writings expressed that I don’t think Toyotas are anything but extremely solid, reliable vehicles. They have a long, proven history of “bulletproof” reliability. Some of their cars are also extremely efficient, though there are just as many that are unapologetic gas guzzlers ( Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Lexus large SUV’s, FJ Cruiser, etc ).

Feel free to be as cultured and educated as you want. Go nuts. Drive a boring car, an appliance, if you want. I don’t care. You’ll keep your car out of the shop, and you’ll get great resale value. But you won’t have any fun. That’s why my last few cars have been Hondas. They have all the great qualities of Toyota, but with the added “fun to drive” factor.

  18. I was just reading over these comments and I only have a few things to add. I agree with Leroy and I too think Honda’s are more fun to drive than the Toyotas (as long as you are comparing fairly; Accord-Camry, Corolla-Civic, etc). From what I have seen the last few years, I know Toyota sets standards. However, it is companies or sister companies that are higher than standards. Companies like Lexus and Acura. So all I wanted to add was that Toyota sets standards, but it is other companies that are “exciting” becuase they focus on only one aspect and take it to a whole new level (aspects like performance, design, etc).
  19. what ever the model i love this car from my heart..
and i call it coco ;-)
  20. I have a 2001 Corolla LE and it is simplay awesome! I love this car so much and I plan on driving it when it hits 200,000 miles. I take care the Corolla very well which is important. I also try to wash it as often as I can. I think you can make these cars last for many many years as long as you take care of them!
  21. the new corolla is very nice car than old one 2008 car more butifull
  22. beautiful car, my dad bought it
  23. “Secretary Car”?????
Old lady car is more like it. I didn’t think they’d sell you one of these unless you were an AARP member.

I don’t get the appeal of these, my wife had one back in the 90s and it was by far the biggest POS we’ve ever owned.

  24. What can I say…my first corolla was last 2003 ( I had it for 10 years)with at least 254K miles.Never had mechanical problems and it may still be running until some DumbAss hit my car and totaled. I just bought the 2009 model today and it looks AWESOME..even got a good price for for $17800.00 loaded. :)
  25. How can you say a corolla is a peice of shit Paul? Based on what aspects. It does exactly what it was intended to do. It is a low priced, durable, fairly well equipped car with a great fuel economy rating for the middle class buyer. Sure it doesn’t go fast but a corolla isn’t intended to push the limits of speed. Maybe your ignorant self should research a car before you buy it and see if it offers what you want. Everything it is intended to do, it does. And as far as comparing it to honda Leroy, they both have their short-comings. Poorly designed civic, front wind-shield looks like that of a spaceship, entirely too large. And greatly over priced packages.
  26. Poorly designed Civic? Looks are subjective. Many people prefer the look of the Civic over the Corolla, though. It’s certainly more daring - something Toyota will never, ever do with the Corolla.

And there are no packages on Hondas. Only trim levels.

  27. exactly the same as a honda civic, but i woud say it´s wonderfull and cheap!
  28. :)
