2008 Chevrolet Corvette LS3 Spy shot

2008 Chevrolet Corvette LS3 The 2008 Corvette is scheduled to be announced by GM in just a few days, but someone got a hold of a few spy shots ahead of schedule, so naturally I thought you guys would be interested.

The most important change of all is, in typical Corvette fashion, the engine. Dubbed the LS3, the new engine is rumored to make an impressed 430 HP. As if that weren’t enough, sources at GM say that fuel economy is set to improve as well. Considering the current models’ 28 MPG EPA rating, and the new rating system going into effect for all 2008 models, it’s hard to imagine what the EPA will say about the 2008 Corvette. Suffice is to say, more power plus better gas mileage makes me a happy camper.
