2007 Pontiac G6 sedan

Detroit News reviews the 2007 Pontiac G6 and has this to say – ‘Tell someone that you just spent some time in the G6, and they might think you’ve returned from an economic summit.  Tell them that you were in the Grand Am, and they’ll know you drove a Pontiac.  For reasons that must be clear only to marketing experts, names are out and numbers are in when it comes to identifying automotive models.  In labeling its sporty fleet of sedans, coupes and convertibles, Pontiac has created a hierarchy of G’s, ranging from the G5 to the upcoming 2008 G8.  The mid-level G6 is so designated because it was the successor to the Grand Am, hence the “G,” and is the sixth generation of that line.’
