It has been in the mill for awhile, but Nissan officially announced the Altima Hybrid at the Orange County Auto Show in California.

Electric motor - 40 HP / 199 lb-ft of torque 0-1500 RPM.
Total power - 198 HP.

Gas Mileage : 41 city / 36 highway

Fuel tank size : 20 gallons

Emissions : Advanced Technology-Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle ( AT-PZEV )

Wow. The 2007 Altima is one sexy looking car - I don’t think anyone can argue with that. The exterior is very very clean, and the interior is a huge improvement over the current version. With a hybrid version available, the new Altima could be even more successful than Nissan dare dream. Keyless, push button starting and 41 MPG in an Altima? Where do I sign up?
